Dave Coyne, one of two, earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Cal State Long Beach, transitioning from graphic design and illustration to showcasing his creativity and innovation with barrels and beer. He eventually carved out a niche for himself in Astoria.
Today he continues to shine in Astoria, Oregon, as one half of the fantastic duo at Obelisk Beer Company.  Then the other half of the amazing duo at Obelisk Beer. Nathan Lampson graduated with a degree in biology from South Dakota State University. After a short stint as a high school teacher, Nathan took an unexpected turn immersing himself in the dynamic world of the beer industry.
